Having stumbled on the term “wellness how”, I’m fascinated by the connotations and lifestyle associated with the label. Begging the question, am I a wellness hoe?
A few months ago I was gifted a full-size jar of WelleCo Super Elixir, “A daily all-in-one health supplement”. Having finished the entire jar, I’m now sharing my thoughts.
My skin has, at different points, been on both ends of the spectrum. I’ve been dry, sensitive and flushed, and I’ve also experienced horrific cystic acne.
As frustrating as it can be, it means the bar is set high for skincare and I’ve been able to test products for both extremes.
Invisible illnesses as are painful in that they’re frequently invalidated for their lack of physical symptoms – leading to suspicion from employers, doctors, friends, and family, eventually causing you to wonder “What if I am making it up?”
To my first cactus, Marco, I’m sorry.
I was young and inexperienced, I didn’t know any better. They said it was impossible to kill a cactus, but I’ve never been a quitter.

As a gluten and dairy intolerant queen, the idea of excessively substituted foods doesn’t bother me too much.
To complain about having the time and opportunity to take care of oneself would be insane, but I find myself anxious and panicked unless every last one has been ticked off before I go to bed.
